PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS & LICENSE INFORMATION

HUNT DEPOSITS: To confirm a booking a 40% deposit is required on all trips. If unsuccessful in drawing on single animal hunts, your deposit is returned. If you book a combination hunt, and are unsuccessful in drawing one animal, but draw the other license, only on the animal you fail to draw a license is the deposit returned, unless different arrangements were made when the hunt was booked. Should you draw only one license, the hunt can be rescheduled to hunt the animal for which a license was obtained. Only upon failure to draw a license is a deposit returned; this is because of the expense of a lost booking. License applications withdrawn by the client WILL NOT COUNT AS FAILURE TO DRAW, therefore a deposit refund will not be granted by Dampier Lodge. Deposits will be returned within 60 days of notification by the appropriate Game & Fish that you were unsuccessful in obtaining a license. Personal checks will be accepted for all payments. Final payments must be made 30 days in advance of the hunt starting date. No rate reductions or extra days will be given if hunters leave before the conclusion of the hunt or if they fail to arrive on prearranged dates.
TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE: This type of insurance is offered by many agents. We strongly recommend buying trip cancellation insurance. Should you be unable to make the trip due to an unforeseen problem you will not lose all of your investment. This type of insurance can also cover loss or damages to your personal gear. Over the years many hunters have had to cancel at last minute because of health or other unforeseen problems and we were not able to give a refund, we never feel good about this so once again check out TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE.
SALES TAX: Meals and lodging on Wyoming hunts are subject to a state sales tax.
FINAL PAYMENT: a liability waiver and safety rule sheet to be signed at check in. Final payment is due upon arrival and check in. VISA, MASTER CARD, DISCOVER and AMERICAN EXPRESS accepted with 4% service charge.
EXCLUSIVE ONE-TO-ONE GUIDE SERVICE: We offer this at a additional $1,000. This must be requested at least 60 days prior to arrival to be sure of guide availability.
NON-HUNTERS: We can accommodate non-hunters at the lodge for a fee of $90.00 per day. If you want your non-hunter to accompany you during your time in the field this will be charged the same rate as a HUNTING PARTNER. All subject to outfitters judgment.
YOUTH HUNTERS: All hunter 14 and under are Free. All hunter 15-18 are 1/2 Price on all big game hunts.
DOE HUNTS & LICENSES: In order to maintain quality hunting, we carefully regulate the number of does we harvest on our leases. If you desire to harvest a doe on your hunt, ask about the availability when you book your hunt.
LICENSE FEES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE HUNT.
LICENSES: All Wyoming licenses are on a drawing system. We are anxious to help you in securing the permits for your hunt. We help you fill out all Wyoming license applications. Most of our hunts have draw odds of 100%, this information is found on each hunt description.
